The Braves just pulled a brilliant move by reinforcing their rotation after losing Russ Ortiz and Jaret Wright by adding Tim Hudson. What worries me about the Braves is their willingness to reintroduce John Smoltz into the rotation rather than the closing job he's had for the past three years. I think he'll just end up blowing his arm for good if he keeps thikning he can be a starter.
The Sox just lost one of their better pitchers. We all saw how good Pedro can be during the postseason. However, the Mats, as always, overpaird for a suspect player. We've all seen their "big moves" for better players flop again and again. If things go as they have for the Mets so far, they're gonna suck. Bad.
