Time to speculate, time to guess, time to dream of the possibilities for the players and teams regarding next season. Where will the big unit go?*randy johnson*(Or will he?) Will Roger Clemens try and tough it out one more year? Will pedro stay with the red sox? Will the rangers and astros ever see a world series....hey even texans dream. So many possibilities, so much to mull over. So let's get yapping. ;D

Johnson will probably stay with the D'Backs. But if he goes somewhere, please God, don't let him go to the Yankees.
Clemens will stay another year with the 'Stros. He's got plenty of gas left in the tank.. though sometimes he does show his age.
Pedro will stay witht he Sox even though he's no longer their ace. If he leaves, so would their good luck charm, Nelson de Rosa. That little dude's like their freaking rally monkey.
The Rangers and the 'Stros will see the World Series. Just not at the same time (yet). Houston just needs to keep Beltran, Clemens and Kent and work on finding successors for their two original Killer Bs. Perferably young, strong and fast guys like Carl Crawford for the outfield and Richie Sexson (if he stays healthy) or Carlos Delgado for First Base. But if they can find (and keep) another Carlos Beltran-type guy, that'd just own. If Clemens stays, and everyone stays healthy, their rotation can be summed up in three words: solid freaking gold. Clemens, Oswalt, Pettite, Miller and Backe is so solid that the entire National League would soil themselves at such a prospect. Oh, and if Houston gets Magglio Ordonez, I'll be happy. Old boy practically begged to play for Houston when they trained him in Venezuela, and if Drayton opens his checkbook and gets him (and he stays healthy), that'd freaking rock.
Texas has a much easier job than Houston does. They just need to keep their line-up intact and keep Alfonso Soriano. Other than that, they need to beef up their pitching, but then, with the glut of good pitchers out there, that's not a problem. The hard part is picking some and managing to sign them. It's gonna prove to be quite a scramble this off-season.
But it would be sweet to see each team make it to the World Series, preferably in the same season. ;)

I'm going to go all out here and say the Dodgers will take it all the way.
Why?
Well its the only team I really know or have ever seen play.

Depending on how they rebuild, they might do well next season. Though if they lose Beltre and can't replace him, they're screwed.
